Lesley was lucky enough to be able to attend the inaugural meeting of IWFF `Gatherings' held in June 2007 at the Pontoon Bridge Hotel County Mayo, Ireland. Ladies from as far afield as Alaska, Colorado, Marthas Vineyard USA as well as Scotland, Wales and Ireland came together to enjoy 3 days of fishing on Lough Conn and the famed River Moy. The weather proved none too kind with a heatwave of Meditteranean proportions hitting the west coast of Ireland while the lady anglers were there, nevertheless a good time was had by all especially in the sharing of fishing experiences from across the globe.
